Salesforce REST API connector

Could a salesforce connector that uses SOQL queries via the rest api or the bulk api be created? I find the current salesforce connector to be rather limiting in terms of what it can do. For example, the current connector does not return more than 2000 records, and the filtering is limited as well. I already have an example python script that uses the rest api, if that helps.

Thanks for getting in touch about the salesforce connector. There is currently an enhancement in our system to improve / increase the 2000 record limit and there is also an enhancement request to add more filtering options. If there is any update to these I can advise you accordingly. I have however raised this as an enhancement in our system also.
