Reference codes not appearing in multi-value tool-tips for charts

Johnathon Warren shared this problem 4 years ago
Completed

Encountered in stacked area chart, and time series line chart, and when selecting a range of values in a chart. Seems to happen on any chart where the tool-top shows multiple values of a field that uses reference codes.

Hi Johnathon,

Thanks for reaching us.

I would like to replicate the issue here. Can you please tell me

1. Version and current Build of Yellowfin, you can get it from <Yellowfin URL>/info.jsp

2. Send me the screenshot of data you have on which this chart is developed. And let me know the steps, how you setup this Chart

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Mahesh

Hi Jonathan,

I can confirm this issue still exists in both the latest 7.4.10 and the release you've tested.

The defect has been raised and I'll keep you posted on updates.

Out of curiosity, how many reports is this affecting? Trying to better understand the user impact and severity.

Thanks,David

It affects a couple of our regular reports. But as you can imagine, it's not a major issue, because otherwise we would have updated after this was fixed, and not yesterday.

Thanks John, yeah I understand. There are always dev/test servers I know people can use, and also the ability to roll-back is always there. Sometimes it's a little unclear of the impact so just like to be extra sure. Much appreciated :)

Hi Jonathan, I can confirm this is still present in the latest releases and have reached out to the product team for further review so we can get into a near future release. I'll keep you posted on updates.

Apologies for the inconvenience this has caused, and please reach out if there was anything else I could assist with.

Regards,

David
