Option to set email sender for Report > Share > Email

When sharing a report via email, it uses the logged in YF user. Can we have the ability to set the sender as the same as the Yellowfin Broadcast user

This sounds like a legimate idea and have raised an enhancement for this.

There are no immediate plans to implement this, though it's something that will be reviewed by the product team in the future.

This feature is yet to be implemented. If there is any movement on this enhancement I'll let you know, though at this point in time there are no immediate plans.

This features has now been implemented in 7.4.11, and will also be included in the next 8.0.4 release (due later this year).

The new feature can be enabled via Administration > Configuration > Email : General

At the moment there is an issue if you include a space in the email sender name, it has been logged here Error when setting custom email sender with blank space
