Can you tell me if the server/service has been restarted recently?
The YFX file is actually a container file for the XML that is exported. Could you try using your favourite compression software (winzip/winrar etc) to open the YFX file and extract the XML file, then try importing this separately.
sometimes this may work, but it helps us eliminate one potential cause as your file is quite big!
