Timeline - story read confirmation

Hello,
I am wondering if at a Timeline view level, there is a way to know if you have already read a story? It would be super helpful if there is a “Read on…” or viewed + whatever date or perhaps link becomes a different colour once read?
Also in the browse stories section, can there be a “read on…” whatever date column.

Thanks for reaching out. This is not currently possible but I do think this is a neat idea!
I've gone ahead and changed this to an Idea item and submitted an internal enhancement request.

I have an update on this.
From our CTO:
"I agree this is a good idea.
We are in the process of redesigning timeline and the content that is shown on it - it will be rewritten for 2019...
This idea is under consideration as part of the timeline redesign."
