Currently, when visible unit selection is enabled on a time-series chart, you are able to pick from "week", "day", "year" etc.
It would be nice if this were auto selected based on the date range available in the data.
This applies to both with and without unit selection enabled

Thanks for the feedback, it's always appreciated.
At this point in time there are no plans to have the unit selector choose the appropriate unit based on data returned.
While it seems kinda simple initially, what we're talking about here is a dynamic unit selector. The data returned in the report will change, so the unit selector would also need to reflect that change. Due to the complexity needed to support such a feature, and to also have it not impact on report performance it's not something we are planning on supporting.
