Stream line filter workflow... get rid confusing page reload

When selecting a new item for a filter the page is reloaded, but the new filter is not applied yet to the report. This only takes place after pressing the little button on the filter panel.

I and some of my customers think it would be a great idea to get rid of that page reload and find some other way (ajax?) to change the filter values. Because it has happened often enough that one was wondering why the reprot data didn't change, assuming that the new filter was already applied. ;-)

Are you able to elaborate a bit more with some screens on what you're seeing?

I want to ensure I'm looking at the right issue as there are a few different refreshes, and possibly things you can configure to stop this.

Hi David,

I guess that part was also enhanced in 7.2 already... I just checked when I wanted to make screenshots for you. In 7.1 the page refreshes when you use the little pop-up to select an item for a user prompt. Then the item is displayed in the prompt field, but the data in the report has not been filtered by that value. In 7.2 the prompt field is cahnged without refreshing the whole page and therefore no mor confusion. :-)
