Storyboard Export Table Report

Hi Support,

Our client uses Storyboard for executive reporting on a weekly basis, and they have a tabular report that needs to be included when exporting into PDF. For some reason this report gets cutoff and only the visible portion, without scrolling or pages, of the report is exported in the PDF. Is there are way Yellowfin can export the entire tabular report when it's added on a Storyboard?

Thanks,

Jasper

Hello Jasper,

I have replicated this issue in my environment and i have the results like below:

I have created a Story and added a Report named Draft Report

And I have exported this to pdf in A4 and Portrait :

And if we use A2 and Portrait:

Please try this and Let me know if it works for you.

If this solution haven't works for please share the Screenshot of the cutoff pdf and request you to share the exact version/build that you are currently using.

Hi Priya,

No, not a Story! I was inquiring about a Storyboard, the PowerPoint looking slide presentation in Yellowfin.

We are using version 8.0.10, I've attached sysinfo.xml.

Thanks,

Jasper

Hello Jasper ,

I hope you are doing well.

I have replicated this issue in 8.0.10.4 as per your build this is the version and in 9.8 however the results were the same.

Looks like a bug and I'm going to mark ticket as 'Defect Logged' for now for tracking purposes and will update you once I hear back from the Development team.

Hi Priya,

The only workaround I can think of now is to compile the Storyboard reports into a Dashboard instead, as it can export all pages of a table report. Is there any other workaround we can do for now?

Thanks,

Jasper

Hi Jasper,

Apologies for the delay. I have checked for a workaround, but your suggested solution is a completely viable alternative.
