Share Dashboards as PDF Files

Hi Guys,

I'm doing some final tests of the new Yellowfin Build (9.3.1) so we can upgrade some of our clients, but I've found a problem.

Some of our client, use the functionality to share dashboards as PDF via e-mail to Yellowfin Users or some external parties. These clients are actually using 8.0.6 version of yellowfin.

When I was testing, I notice that PDF option when we try to share is gone. I tried to find some info in Yellowfin forum or even the wiki, but I had no success.

I hope you guys can point me in the right direction.

As you guys can see in the screenshot above, there's only the link option when we try to share the dashboard.

The same doesn't happen if we try to broadcast as seen in the screenshot below.

Thanks a lot for your help in this case.

This workaround will gonna be used for our users, thanks for your information about this.

In the meanwhile, I'm gonna wait for a definitive solution.

Hi Simon,

I just wanted to share some info with you regarding this problem.

Sadly, the workaround it's not a valid solution because the broadcast feature does only work for external parties if you have a Multicast Licence, which we don't have yet.

With sharing, we can send to anyone without any particular licence.

I hope you guys can solve this issue as soon as possible.
