Report export in xlxs format has data format as text

Hi Team,
All reports when exported to xlxs format has data format for numeric values as text.
Can it be number because the users have to perform further analysis and it becomes a manual process for them to format the text to number.

This behavior of numerical fields being exported as text fields to excel is a bug currently being addressed in our developer platform. I had this issue but getting rid of the thousand separator in the numerical field formatted is as a number in the export. Just FYI
