Add Records Per Page in crosstab reports

Hi,

When we running report with fields only as 'Columns' we get 100 rows for each page:

/5b1a0ad0c6020b64d9cc9fc43e8867c3

When we creating the same report with fields as 'Rows' we see all the data in one page.

How can we limit the number or rows per page is this case?

Thanks,

Sofia

Hi Sofia,

Thanks for reaching out. There is currently no way to configure Records Per Page for crosstab reports:

What I can do is change this to a public Idea ticket and submit an enhancement request for this. Please let me know if that's something you'd be interested in.

I do have to question the desirability of returning 3206 results as columns though - I'm not quite sure the readability of that would be there regardless. Have you possibly considered using Sections instead? This may be worth reading through and looking into.

Mike

Hi Mark,

I just want to make sure it's not a bug, as i mentioned the records per page is 100 when we create report with fields only as 'Columns' but for report with fields as 'Rows' we see all of the rows at the same page.

if it's not a bug it would be great if you can add the option to configure Records Per Page.

Thanks,

Sofia

Hi Sofia,

I can confirm this is expected behavior, i.e., not a bug. In order to not display the values all on one page, functionality such as Records Per Page would have to exist. You can see there is no option for this in cross-tab reports. The reason it doesn't already exist is because I'd think in most cases, it would not be desirable to have so many columns.

There's no harm in requesting this functionality be added so I've converted this to an Idea ticket, but in the meantime, I recommend exploring Sections as a potential solution.

Regards,

Mike
