Option to hide Sub Tabs

We are looking for the option to hide sub tabs within a dashboard.

For example, we have built a dashboard with x amount of sub tabs and reports, we then share this dashboard with x amount of users. With this on some occasions we do not want users to see certain content on certain sub tabs within the dashboard hence the option to have an Admin hide sub tabs.

I hope all is well and I hope you had a great weekend. I have since discussed this with our wider team here at Yellowfin, and I come with some questions.

Going forward it would be great if you could provide a use case for this so that we can see what your expected behaviour is.

Is this a simple case of having a dashboard with x amount of sub tabs but to then have some kind of override function where one can hide those tabs from certain users or groups of users even though they otherwise have access to that content (by virtue of having access to the folders)?

If you can let me know, that would be great.

Hello Mark,

Thank you for following up on my recent request.

I want to achieve the ability to hide a subpage from the main user view and then add an action button on the main dashboard that directs users to the hidden subpage. This way, the filters from the main dashboard will stay in sync with the subpage.

Let me know if you need me to further clarify on what im trying to achieve here.

Have you tried using CSS in Code Mode?

  .subTab{
        display:none;
    }

See if this gets you what you want...

(you will have to add it to every subtab in code mode)

Thank you for having an input on this. Going forward I want to ask if the above CSS was of any help? I have yet to look at this, but I am hoping some movement could be made, albeit no movement from Yellowfin side to implemented said feature.
