I would like an option to export only the tabulated data from a Report, in the XSLX format, without including the image of the Chart.

Hi Lily,
I hope all is well,
I've just checked the status of this and unfortunately no movement, although it is looking unlikely that this will be a feature within YF, however, I do have a question... As a possible solution can I ask the possibility of exporting this to CSV and then open it within Excel?
Let me know.
Regards,
Mark

Hi Lily,
Just to let you know, I don't work for Yellowfin, I work for a Yellowfin Partner.
You could achieve this by using a Javascript library with its own export module to build the table. The main library we use to provide this kind of custom export feature is DataTables.
If you have the internal skillset to achieve this, their documentation is pretty complete and easily integrated into Yellowfin. If this isn't something that you're able to achieve internally, we specialise in providing exactly this kind of custom requirement and would be happy to help. You can reach me on lex@rhinoit.co.uk (https://www.rhinoit.co.uk/) if need be.

Lex

Hi Lily,
I just want to touch base to question whether or not the possible solution mentioned by Lex would be of a good option for you? If you can let me know that would be great. Maybe we could then get this idea marked as completed and continue to move forward with the solution provided?
(Thank you for your input Lex)
I look forward to your reply.

Maybe I misunderstood,
Our customers need to export the data to XSLX. The charts are not exporting well (I have another ticket for that). You guided me to export charts only as PDF.
If the charts are not exporting well to XSLX, it is likely to ask for an option to export to XSLX without the charts.
How else can they get the data?
CSV is not enough.

Hi Lily,
Apologies for the misunderstanding of this ticket. Going forward I think it would be best if we jump on a remote session so I can get a better understanding of the request in hand. This would also be a good opportunity to have a catch up on your other open tickets that we have with you.
Let me know of your availability for a remote session tomorrow (Friday) at 14:00 UK Time Zone. If this time does not suit your working day we can arrange for Monday next week.
Happy to assist where I can.

It's been 7 days since my last response, with this I just want to touch base to see if you had chance to read through my previous response. If you can get back to me that would be great. Happy to assist and get to the bottom of this.
