New Report - Ad Hoc option doesn't appear

Hi, we're currently testing 7.4 (build 20180313) - and I've noticed the Ad Hoc option when creating a new report doesn't appear on the pop up window:
That is, until I switch Advanced Authoring on and off, after which it does appear:
Going into a view's More Details doesn't have the same affect. I've tested across client orgs and browsers.
Is this a rendering issue or a bug? I can't see any mention of it in the change logs for the 20180515 build.

Hi Brendan,
it's a bug, and in fact there is already a defect from last year raised against it (YFN-8306), so I have linked this Problem to that defect, and also added a note within the defect that you have also contacted us about the same bug.
