mysql database is disabled

I'm trying to select mysql database in the dropdown but it is in disabled mode, Could you pls tell me why it is like that
p.s..I have Mysql workbench installed in my machine

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I'm afraid that Yellowfin does not ship with the MySQL driver for this connection due to licensing/paywall reasons. To get this to show you will need to manually upload the driver through the Plugin Manager.
Once this is uploaded you will see that the MySQL option will be available. I have also included the MySQL connection guide as well for when you have added the driver. I have also include the MySQL driver I use locally for my own testing but you find the latest drivers here .
