Instagram - error retrieving results

I installed the instagram connector, validated the key and have successful login test. I do however get "Error retrieving results " on each of the dashboards except "top photo tags"

Hi Gustav,


Hope you're having a good day.

When first launching connectors, background schedules are run to return data. Depending on the connector, it will then store the data in the Yellowfin DB.

With the instgram connector, it will store it in the database. So the error you're getting is referring to a failure retrieving the data.


What I'd like you to do is, open 'Schedule Management' and look for your Instgram schedule there. Then manually run it.

Does it run ok? If so, do you now have data on your dashboard for all reports?

If not, what errors are thrown.

Hi David, this has resolved the problem but not at first. Please see the images attached with the schedule failure and message. I also had to remove the HashtagName and number of tags. Thanks Gustav

Sounds like there was some data that was not being handled by the connector, or the API itself was not passing across valid data.


Can you please let me know what hashtags you were using, in the hope we can replicate and raise a task with the dev team?

Hi David

While having the issue, I tried several items/options and can not now remember what the #tag was that was used. I also tried to replicate this error but was not able to !

Hi David,


I have a similar problem to Gustav apart from the fact that the now the connector doesnt return any results even after I have ran the schedule. This is what it says.

I have also attached the logfiles for you to see. The facebook connector also says the same thing.
