Improve the search box

Hi,
I had not noticed that it shows the search in the top left, however sometimes it will display "Search Content" even though say, I was searching reports. I also wasn't aware that the search criteria would stick even after changing folders. It's also not super clear that the little arrow at the top removes the search criteria.
I now see that the icon in the search bar is clickable and that it changes based on criteria but the text does not, as shown in yf3.png. With all that said, it appears most likely to be user error on my end. I would like to submit feedback/request to maybe enhance the way this displays or works to make it a little more straightforward.
