Import Multiple JXML's - Jasper Reporting
Idea Logged
Can we implement the ability within the Yellowfin GUI to import multiple jxml files? We use complex Jasper reports containing subreports that export as multiple jxml files. At present, we can only upload one jxml through the GUI.

When a Jasper report contains pictures and that report is uploaded to Yellowfin, Yellowfin detects the images in the report and asks if the user wants to upload the pictures.
Yellowfin then places the pictures in the database (we think) and updates the report with that info.
When the report runs, the pictures are retrieved from the database and displayed in the report.
This same recipe should be followed when the user uploads a Jasper report with sub reports.
So:
1. Upload the report to yellowfin.
2. Yellowfin should scan the report for sub reports.
3. When one or more sub reports are found, Yellowfin should ask the user to upload the sub report files.
4. Yellowfin places the sub report files in the database and updates the main report with the that info.
What we have done in the work-around is:
1. Upload the main report to the Yellowfin server.
2. Upload the sub reports to the Yellowfin server and place them in a directory.
3. Edit the main report with the directory info.
Now when the Jasper report is run from Yellowfin, it finds the sub reports and runs them.
