I have an Adventure works SQL server 2008 database that i want to import to Yellowfin 7.4

As you can see the format of the database is .mdf and .ldf. Does Yellowfin support this or am i supposed to import the database to SQL Server first, then create a SQL Server source on Yellowfin?Please help me..

Hi Kwethemba,
You don't need to import any database into Yellowfin, Yellowfin will just connect to the database via the data source option.
We have an easy to use starting guide which I think you'll benefit from, as it provides both a high level overview, and some tutorials on getting started.
Though the specific info you're after is covered here .
