Hi Ronnie,

To do this you:

  1. Copy and paste your entire Yellowfin folder into its new location
  2. Open the catalina.bat file in a text editor (yelllowfinfolder/appserver/bin/catalina.bat)
  3. Change the following line to say your new folder\appserver location:

rem set CATALINA_HOME to install directory
set CATALINA_HOME=C:\Users\Nathan\Documents\Yellowfin Instances\735_20170608\appserver

Once you have done this, start the application to ensure that all is working correctly, and then you can run the upgrade patch on this new location.

Please let me know if this works for you!

Regards,

Nathan

Hi Nathan,

Thank you for help, I just have couple things to confirm with you:

1. I will copy and paste yellowfin application from C:\ drive to E:\ drive with shutdown the yellowfin service, Then

2. Change the CATALINA_Home in E:\ drive to map to E:\drive

3. Shutdown yellowfin in C:\ drive and start yellowfin from E:\ drive and start testing yellowfin in E:\drive

Your advice. Thanks

Ronnie A.

Hi Ronnie,

That is correct, although if you are running Yellowfin as a Windows service, it may be necessary to re-define this, in which case this article should help:

Let me know if you have any questions or luck getting this to work.

Hi Nathan,

Yes, we are running yellowfin as a Windows service 12. I will setup the yellowfin service on our service application before start testing. Thanks
