How do I turn off section totals for a field?

I am creating a report with fields that are being read as 'Metrics' because they are numeric; I have section headers on the report and I need subtotals, but I only want subtotals for a few of the 'Metric' columns. I have set the 'Totals' property for these fields to 'None', but there is still an entry for these fields in the subtotal line. How do I stop this behavior?

Hi Mike – attached a revised video to show the behavior when using the Totals field. I don’t want to show anything at all in that subtotals line.

Hi David,
I believe what you are referring to here is this part:
This is a Section total. If you head to (what looks like) Equipment > Format > Summary > turn Section Total off:
That should get rid of that line from the bottom of the report. Please let me know if you have further questions.

Hi Mike - I want the Section Total, I just want to choose which columns show up on it. At the moment it looks like anything defined as a ‘Metric’ is in there. I had to change ‘Meter 1 Reading’ to a ‘Dimension’ to stop it from showing up, I’m hoping there’s a way to avoid doing that for the other columns. I would expect setting ‘Totals’ to None would do so.

Hi David,
I see what you're asking for here now. This isn't currently possible in Yellowfin. What I can do is submit an enhancement request to allow the ability to display section totals per field. Would you like me to go ahead and put forth this enhancement request?
