Free dashboard form is not available

Free dashboard form is not available, we are restricted to put the reports in predefined slots. Slots can be stretched vertically but not horizontally.

Just an update to this, we are revamping the dashboard builder for 8.0, and with it will come the ability to use free-form layouts, just like the chart canvas.
Ideas have been logged below, and will be updated once completed and released :) .

Hi Pushpal,
The dashboard formatting interface will be completely reworked in future releases of Yellowfin, allowing dramatically increased customization for dashboard layout and styles.
I am not sure if this is relevant to your needs, but the current version of Yellowfin does have a global formatting setting to adjust dashboard widths. This, along with other dashboard configuration settings can be found here: administration->content settings->dashboards
