Hi,

I have a grouping for some financial data that occurs across multiple reports.

2eb8bfd3b87a1d596575fbd6f9a5ea3d

I would like to be able to fix the order of the values in column (MA4) to be the following:

  1. Tuition Fees & Educational Contracts
  2. Funding Council Grants
  3. Research Grants & Contracts
  4. Other Income
  5. Endowment & Investment Income
  6. Staff Costs
  7. Other Operating Expenditure
  8. Depreciation
  9. Interest & Finance Costs

I appreciate I could achieve this by creating a sort column on the dimension but I'm looking to not have to apply the sort on every report that I create as there will be many.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,

This has already been filed for an enhancement (Task ID: 236183)

It is currently being worked on, but we do not have an ETA at this time.

Sorry for any inconvenience,

Best regards,

Pete

Hello,

I was looking into this issue a bit further for you and I believe you may be able to do what you are after by using "Org Reference Codes".

This would allow you to create a mapping between a value and an entry and also allow for custom ordering across multiple reports.

Please have a look at the manual entry below:
