Hi Support,

I am having a problem with 7.2 version, when I create a report with advanced subqueries I have problem when I try to cache a filter, nothing happens. I check the log and I found "(OrgCache:getOrgRefCodeDesc) - Null reference code requested"...

Can you help me with this problem or some workaround about this?

Many thanks,

Roque

Hi Mahe,

Sorry for my delay. I was able to fix it! I had the same issue using OLAP cubes (SSAS), from one day to other some filters stop caching the member values, I checked the error in yellowfin.log file and also checking the mdx query sent to the olap engine and I found that yellowfin was using a measure that return "INF" or "Infinite" value, so I had to solve that problem in the cube (same problem on relational databases) and the problem was solve, Yellowfin is caching values without any problem.

If someone have the same problem, the problem is in the datamart or in the cube.

Regards,

Roque

Hi Roque,

Sorry for delay in replying to this ticket.

Can you please tell me the actual build you are using?

You can find the Yellowfin build on <Yellowfin URL>/info.jsp page.

If you are not using the recent build, I recommend you to please upgrade to the recent build as there has been lot of issues with filters has been fixed.

Always take a full backup of Yellowfin DB, before upgrading.

Can you please send us the screenshots of the report you have setup, so that I can replicate the issue.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mahe
