Extra Filter in Report Based on Stored Procedure Doesn't Obey Mandatory Option

I added an extra filter to a report based on a stored procedure. I made sure the option to make it mandatory was set to off; however, when running the report it treats it as mandatory. As a workaround, I turned the filter into a list selection.

Hi Jason,
I have been able to replicate the issue you described so I have raised a defect in order for it to be fixed, the defect ID is YSD-735 and at present there is no ETA for it. I searched for another workaround for you, but yours is the best.
