Extending the "Return to Dashboard" button functionality to drill through dashboards

Hi Team,

Please let me know if we can extend the "Return to Dashboard" button functionality to drill through dashboards (at the moment, it only seems to work on drill through reports).

Hi Asif,

This should work on drill through dashboards... However it currently only works for one level deep and we have an enhancement request to extend that to multi-level drills. Is that what you are referring to?

Scenario

We have a report (rpt1) on a dashboard (dash1). The report rpt1 will drill through to the dashboard (dash2) not report
So when we open dash1 and perform drill-through action on rpt1 it will open dash2.
Once this action is performed we are not able to see "Return to Dashboard" option on dash2.

Thanks for clearing that up. We do have a separate enhancement for this behaviour but no associated public ticket. Are you okay if I turn this private ticket into a public idea so that the Community can vote for it?
