Expanded tooltip configuration option in line, bar, column, pie, trellis charts

Scatter plots in Yellowfin provide a "tooltip" section in which any report field can be added. This allows us to add a lot of additional context to a visualization to the tooltip. It would be great to expand this functionality to other chart types (line, bar, column, pie, trellis)

We agree, this is a great idea! It's also why we've included this in our latest major release, Yellowfin 7.4! Most of our chart types have this new feature enabled. I would recommend checking out the 7.4 release notes I've attached to see what else is new.

Thanks! I saw that there were tooltip enhancements in 7.4 but thought it was mostly formatting. Great to see that it includes this functionality.

No worries! Hopefully you can put it to good use :) As I said, there are a couple of chart types that don't yet have this new ability, so be sure to pass along any feedback that you have.
