Error upgrading to June 2017 release 'TaskSChedule ADD ScheduleUUID'
Resolved
When upgrading to the June 2017 release (7.3 or 7.3+), you get the following error:
ERR_UPDATE
Query:
ALTER TABLE TaskSChedule ADD ScheduleUUID nvarchar(40)
This issue occurs when upgrading from a release that is older than Feb 2017, and will cause the upgrade to fail.
The upgrade was trying to create the column in the table twice, which is why it would fail. This impacts both 7.3 and 7.3+.
Good news is that there is a very easy workaround.
Upgrade to May 2017, then to June 2017.
This will be rectified in the July 2017 release, so you can always go straight to July 2017 once released (in 2 weeks time).
If any questions please let us know.
Regards,
David

HI David, where can I obtain a copy of the May 2017 upgrade files (FOR 7.3 I assume you mean) they don't appear on the normal software download pages and I only have the june version of 7.3+ which I was installing on top of a 7.3 Feb build release

Hi Paul,
Ah yeah it would be useful if I actually provided links to these builds, sorry. See links below:
7.3 May .exe / .jar
7.3+ May .exe / .jar
Please let me know how it all goes.
Regards,
David
