Dynamic report container size for table view on Dashboard

Hi Experts,

I wish the report container size to be dynamic on dashboard, when I add a tabular view with initially single record there is huge unnecessary white space. Can this, white space be made dynamic when I add or remove records.

Is their any how we can make it dynamic? (be it by css or in the backend)

Hi Syed,

Unfortunately this is not an option which can be changed easily. You can currently manually modify the height within the dashboard of the report as a whole, but then the height will be fixed according to that setting. You can always look at the css such as below and adjust some of the settings around this section to see if it helps, but this will change all of the reports heights. You could specifically look at the Report DIV by inspecting the elements and add specific CSS for this. There are different CSS options so you will need to see what work within this container area.

Hopefully this makes sense. I can always raise this as an enhancement with our DEV's if you like?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the suggestion. I have already done with static height. Just wanted to confirm, if we can do it dynamically.

You can raise this as an enhancement ticket because I think this is primary feature a dashboard should support.
