Drill through on a Bar Chart
Answered
I am trying to setup the report where the user clicks on the bar and the bar associated with the details come up in a report. Currently I have it setup when I click on the bar the entire report displays instead of just the cases that are included in the bar count. Is this possible?

Hello Kenneth,
Thanks for reaching out with your question. To do this, you'll need to link to a filter on this child report (the report being drilled through to). Without looking at your data, I can't determine what that filter would be, but I'll use 'Category' as an example.
If you wanted to click a bar that's based on a 'Category', you'll want to edit the 'Assy 1 Monthly Report' and add a user prompt filter on the 'Category' field. This allows you to pass this through on the 'Related Reports' screen you've included in your screenshot.
I also want to let you know of some additional resources we have available to help further your Yellowfin knowledge, if you don't know already. We have the Yellowfin Wiki, which details various processes from Data Source to Report Building. We also have the Yellowfin University, at which you can register and take structured lessons on how to use Yellowfin. And lastly, which you seem to have found already, the Yellowfin Community. The Community is where you can find various knowledge base articles and open tickets with Support. These resources are all available to help you succeed in using Yellowfin.
Let me know if the above makes sense or if you need further clarification on this.
Thanks,
Ryan
