Default options for reports - public or private

Currently when we you create reports they are saved as Public reports.

We would like an option within the Report Settings to have a choice of what the default report will be saved as.

Apologies Gadi, no plans on this as yet.


There should be ways to work around this based on the underlying problem here;


-Is it that users are creating bad reports? Think about report approval

-Are there particular users who are creating so much content, it's making it harder for everyone else to find their things? Think about forcing those users into roles that can only create private reports.

-Are users duplicating content and making minor changes, which is causing dupe like report names? Find out what they're changing about the base reports and see if there are some modifications that will give everyone what they need (e.g. More user-prompt filters).


Happy to delve into your particular use-case here, just need a bit more info on what issues you're trying to solve by having a private report default flag.
