Default Draft Folder

Hi,

We've nominated a default folder for draft reports but we don't want certain roles to be able to publish into it. However we still want all drafts to be saved there

If we set the folder to private and give the relevant roles read permission only, will this still allow drafts from these roles to be saved there?

Thanks

Dean

Hi Dean,

Thanks for reaching out to support with your question. Currently this is not possible as the Default Draft Folder is defined by Yellowfin as Public and subsequently does not include access control. However, we do have an Idea post asking for this functionality -

You can "like" and "subscribe" to this post to receive updates and increase the visibility of the request.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but hopefully this answers your question?

Thanks,

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your reply

We might set the folder to have expert approval so at least we'll get notified if someone publishes there.

Thanks
