CSV Data Import Date/Time Format

Referring to this article:https://wiki.yellowfinbi.com/display/USER74/CSV+Data+Imports

I am trying to determine what format my dates/times should be in (in order for Yellowfin to detect the date), and use the timestamp type instead of varchar. So far I have been able to make yyyy/MM/dd work fine, but when I try to include a timestamp such as HH:MM:SS or HH:MM or hh:MM AM/PM or any combination of time formats, it converts the column to varchar. Is there any way to format the time? Please advise

Hi Matt Ragland

I would like to recommend you to go through the below link because it has all the information about date conversion . (https://wiki.yellowfinbi.com/display/USER73Plus/Date+Conversion)

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

I'm aware of how to do date conversion, I am looking at formatting the data pre-import, so that upon import the data is already in the proper format. Date conversion adds an additional column, and that is not what I want
