Copy dashboard from a folder to another

Hi,

Our client has tried to copy a dashboard and its related reports from a folder to another and the problem is that the copied dashboard has lost the links to its related reports.

Is there any way to do something like that?

I've just seen that my previous explanation isn't good. I can't edit the description again. So, I'm writing the right question below:

Is there any way to make a copy of both a dashboard and all its related reports where the related reports from the copied dashboard are automatically updated to the copied reports instead of keeping the original reports?

Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this, so you are going to need to do this whole process manually.

Thanks! It's not what I had liked to hear but it's what I expected to hear. :)

Just to be sure that you aren't thinking of the one I have in mind: if we want to make a complete copy of a dashboard (with its reports) we have to link the reports and their filters manually again, don't we?

Hi Joan,

If you copy the dashboard itself, and the underlying reports do not change, then the linking will be preserved.

If you copy the dashbaord, and want to use different reports (or copies of the same reports) you will need to re-establish the links.

Does this correlate with what you were thinking?
