Change the data source writable status via REST API

Can we request that we have any documentation on how to change the data source writable status via REST API?
Looking at this documentation it appears that most datasource related items seems to be there apart from this request.

I hope all is well,
We have since added REST API support to enable the "writable" and "CSV default" status for a data source to be updated.
This has been released in our 9.9 which was released today, more information can be found via our Announcement here.
