Can't locate my new view

I have built a new view, which I am using in one report. I have gone to another report and pressed the 'edit view' button at the bottom left but when I search I can't find my new view. Any ideas what step I have missed to make it visible in that search please?
Can you take a screenshot? A picture is worth a thousand words.
Are you referring to the "Edit View" button that is available when you are editing a report? (see screenshot). This button only takes you to edit the view that is driving that particular report. If you want to see a different view you should be able to find it from the browse menu.

Thanks for reaching out. You actually can't search for Views in 7.2. All of your views can be found in Administration > Admin Console > Views. You can click into the corresponding view there to verify the Creation Date to make sure you're looking at the correct one. Hopefully this helps.
