Broadcast Alerts - value sets to 'null'

When you set a broadcast with an alert, then choosing a field and define the wanted value - the clause showing the chosen value as "null"

Thanks for your email.

I have tested this setting up a broadcast alert on 7.2, 20170602 build.

Please see my attached video.

I did not receive my broadcast but the value did not change to null.

Did the value changed to NULL when you opened that broadcast setup to edit it or it never took the value you entered and just showed up NULL?

Try setting up using a different field and a different report.

Also please send me the logs and the time you have performed this action of setting up the alert broadcast.

The broadcast alert never took the value and just showed up as NULL.

It happened with two fields, I'll try it with another report but for some reason it works.


I'm not sure what's going on, I'll update you once I'll have some findings.

Hi Dor,

Sometimes it happens to be Null, if the value you typed is not a matching value.

I observed in different scenario.

See how you go and let me know your findings.

Unfortunately (or fortunately)it didn't happened again for the past week.


I will update this ticket once anything happens in the future.
