Ability to upload licence during upgrade

We have a requirement to pass the license file during the upgrade process.

I understand it's possible to do with web services, though wanting it to be passed during the upgrade itself.

Hi Vishal,

I've gone ahead and raised the enhancement on your behalf, at this point of time there is no ETA on this feature.

However, in the interim you have the ability to upload licences via the web service call

.setFunction("UPLOADLICENCE")

I'll keep you posted on further updates.

Hi Vishal,

Just wanted to let you know this is now possible in 8.0.7.

You can use a command like below:

java -jar <updater.jar> -silent option.licencefile=<licence file path> installdir=<yellowfin folder>

Please let us know how it all goes post upgrade, or if there was anything else you were after.
