Ability to export non-reporting objects from Dev to Prod
Not Planned
Current Export functionality allows us to export Reporting contents only. But we would also like to migrate some non-reporting objects from Dev to Prod,
For example;
Developers / Technician create User Groups , Roles , OrgRefcodes on dev Instance for initial Testing and UAT purpose, But once it got approved then they don't have any option to migrate this as it is to PROD env,
Developer need to create all over again into PROD
So it will be good if we include option to export these objects into XML just like we do it for Reports and Dashboards.

The current rewrite of the import/export process will not include non reporting items. Having said that though, it is something we have talked about and is something we could include at some stage the future.
In the meantime there are web services you can use to replicate some of the non report items.

Web-service is not a scalable option for all our customers as our deployments are on On-Premise + SaaS.
Anyway keep us posted on the progress.

Hi Abhijeet ,
This item has been reviewed and unfortunately do not have any immediate plans to implement this feature.This doesn't mean the item has been closed forever, just not on our current road map.
If anything changes I'll let you know. Though of course if there was anything else you were after in the meantime, please let me know.
