Ability to enter absolute path in SFTP broadcast
Idea Logged
Hi,
Currently, when doing a broadcast viasFTP, the application only allows users to enter the name of the destination folder.
Can we have the option to enter the absolute path (full path) as well?
Thanks,
Nick

Hi Neal,
I have a question. Does the sftp broadcast always place the report in user directory?
For example if FTP broadcast is scheduled with root account / password and server directory is given as FTPReport/ExecutiveReports, then reports must be placed in /FTPReport/ExecutiveReports/ folder. But, in this case reports are placed in ./root/FTPReport/ExecutiveReports/ folder instead of ./FTPReport/ExecutiveReports/ folder. Is this expected behavior?

Bharath

Hi Bharath,
The FTP directory provided will be relative to the FTP account's home directory, this setting is part of the FTP server based settings. If you need to change this, please consult the technical documentation for your particular FTP server software.
