Ability to access reports on the new mobile app

I'm using the latest mobile app and want to be able to access my reports.

While we have the mindset that the mobile experience doesn't play too nice with reports designed to be viewed on a much larger, we do understand there may be a need for business users to run some reports.

We plan to address this need in the next 6 months, to keep updated on the progress please subscribe and vote on this idea.

Hi Joen,


It's all noted, and yes Dashboards have been discussed, though we haven't been able to confirm what is going to be best as yet.

Our previous app, while does list Dashboards, really just shows the reports in a list view, so we could prob take a similar approach, though right now our focus is reports first.

It looks as though there should be some updates to this with the release of 9.7? Does this work, if so... how?

How do you find out what version of the App is installed ("settings" only goes to PIN)?

Hi Zack, good catch, I completely missed this post!


So the 2 flavors of the app (Android/iOS) that include reporting are named "Yellowfin Mobile" and will have a version of 1.1.0.

You will see the version from the app store itself under the app details (not within the app). ie. for Google Play, you just need to go 'What's New' and it will expand and show version, along with updated date (it should Nov 2021).

Other than being on the latest app version, and using 9.7 you don't need to do anything else for the reports to appear. (If using prev 9.7 the app will function, though will not have the reports option).
