Conditional Format colour apply for Scatter Chart

We would like the option of being able to apply Conditional Formatting for Colour within Scatter Charts.

From what we can see the only options around this are with the following.

Monochrome;

fd0e01f4e2a3cefe2339c6a8bfa75791

Default (Custom) Colours;
Set at Content Settings.

92c4ac41ee57d237dbf206bdc0c98d27

2f77d8d05a869f3c64e1e446ae9643f7

As it stands this can only be applied for specific charts. For example, we can see that the below Chart has the option of being able to set a Conditional Format, which results in the following;

4c312fc0f3987ab341c1a234d7f72a05

d1d577f4ae49e6a28aac45f39aa43390

We are aware of limitations with what options we have when it comes to building/formatting charts and this appears to be one of those.

Hi Ingo,

I hope all is well,

Unfortunately no movement on this Enhancement ticket, however we may have a workaround... I have been looking at Set Analysis, I have yet to fully test, although we do have options within this for colours etc. Let me know your thoughts. Hi Mark,

the workaround did actually help us out. Many thanks for that! How did you come up with that one now?

Best regards,

Ingo

Hi Ingo,

Thank you for getting back to me and letting me know this is a good alternative to our initial Idea Request.

I was discussing this with the wider team here at Yellowfin and it was brought up as a possible option.

What next?

I'll re-mark this as Idea Logged so that we can get additional options with what we require.

Regards,

Mark
