optimize editing of field settings- too much clicking

Hi,
have you ever tried to configure a view with 20+ fields consistently? Let's say you want to match/control the description texts and the access settings for each field.... Please try it
- for each field the display jumps to "formatting
- for each field you have to click again on details
- for each field you have to click on Access again and scroll down
An extremely annoying and time-consuming process (danger of tendonitis ;)
Idea
It would be much better if the display would not jump back to the formatting area every time. Leave the last used area open

I replicated the issue and had the same problem with versions 9.8.1.1 and 9.8.1.2.
The display jump back to formatting area every time doesn't leaving the last used area open.
I've logged this as an Idea for an Enhancement Request. Before becoming a request, ideas will be reviewed by our Product Team and chosen for Enhancements based on feasibility, level of positive impact to the user experience, and votes from the community. This post will be updated with any future information relevant to this process.

Hi,
I was just able to quality assure two views again and check every setting. This clicking is still a nightmare.
Please leave the expanded area expanded when you select another field. Then you can get through the fields much faster and recognize possible configuration errors much better
