Within a report: Create a month date hierarchy

Hi!

I have created a report with the columns (day, Metric 1, Metric 2) based on 2 different view and save it as a view "from report". I would like to create a new report#2 based on this new view "from report" and create year -month- day drill down.

Within my view "from report" there is no option to edit it in view builder.

When i'm trying to build new calculated field in my new report#2 based on a day field no date sql function works (no extract, no date_part as well).

Is there a work around how to build two additional dimenstions and afterwards build an hierarchy for them within the report editing mode?

Hi Daria,

Thanks for reaching out with your question. If you are using a report as a view, it's not possible to manipulate that in the View Builder.

Using a Report as a View also limits your functionality for Calculated Fields.

In regards to building a hierarchy, this must happen at a View level.
