Hi Team,

I wanted SQL queries for each database for below.

1) Existing User and New database --> what role,permission required for Existing user Postgres, MSSQL and Oracle. ?

2) Existing Database and Existing User --> How to check permission for both Postgres, MSSQL and Oracle.

We wanted to install silent but user can enter anything so what yellowfin needed we wanted to add validation so that it will not fail.

Will you please check.

Hi Vishal,

Thanks for reaching out. We have an article for this: Minimum Database permissions required for Yellowfin Repository Database.

There's was also some additional correspondence with your colleague Vikram, which you will be able to access via his private ticket ( I cannot link here due to privacy reasons ).

In terms of checking existing DB users' permissions, I recommend searching each respective RDBMS' documentation and/or other online resources for same.
