Using conditional format description as filter input
Answered
Hi,
If setting up a range of conditional formats/rules for a column, is it possible to setup a filter and to use the conditional format description as a input for a filter?
regards Roar
Hi Roar,
Thanks for reaching out support with your question.
There's not currently an option to "use conditional formatting description as filter" unfortunately, however I could create a task for developers to look into this possibility if you were interested?
I asked a content creation specialist about this, who informed me this could possibly be achievable currently with the use of a reference code at the view level. For example here is a raw formatted country code converted into a Proper name -
Perhaps this is a viable solution in your case?
Thanks,
Eric
