Unable to find Subscribe to Report comment option in 73
Answered
Hi Team,
We used to have subscribed to comment option in 71, which will keep notifies user on any new comments.
I am not able to find this one in Yellowfin 73 under activity streams or Comments section,
Is there any alternative option provided for this ?
Thanks,
Abhijeet
Hi Abhijeet,
I'll get back to you tomorrow on this, sorry for the delays.

David

Hi Abhijeet,
Sorry for the delays, ok here is how it works in 7.3.
There is no longer the option to 'subscribe' as you are notified if;
-If you are the root commenter of the report, you will be notified of subsequent comments
-If you are tagged in a comment with '@' , you will be notified.
-If you favourite the report, you will be notified when there are comments
-If the report is private and you have been given access, you will be notified if there are comments.
Please let me know if any of the above does not apply to you, or if you have further questions.
Regards,
David

Thanks David,That's fair enough.. I'll test few of this scenarios soon.
For now we can close this thread, if i run into any specific issue i'll raise separate Support ticket.
On other note, It would be really helpful for us if you call out these kind of information in release notes, such as; if you are deprecating any specific feature or providing other (improved) ways to achieve similar functionality it would give us ample amount of time to Rewrite/revise internal documentation/Instructions.
Thanks for your Support.
