Suppressing Duplicates One to Many to One

Hi,

I'm attempting to build a report that where the values are displayed as one to many to one to many in a similar way to the attached.

With reference to the attached I can use the suppress the duplicate function for the first column but it then appears to not be possible to do this again for third and 5th columns.

Is there any way to achieve this type of report in Yellowfin whilst maintain the desired column order?

For reference the Cause and Control data come form joined tables to the main risk table.

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul,Unfortunately, suppress duplicates works from left to right, so this will not be possible in the current setup. A couple alternative display ideas:

  • Drill down/through on risk title and risk level so this all starts as one row, and then expands
  • Co-display reports, separate these into two reports and co-display left and right to achieve a similar look

I am hesitant to say that this will change in near future, so hopefully there is an alternative display method that meets your needs here.

Nathan
