Spot KPI

With the Spot KPI, can I save data for a specified period (weekly), so that I can show trends against previous data? In other words, is there a way to take a snapshot of the data and somehow preserve it so I can use for trending?

Hi Hugo,

If I am not wrong, you need to setup the KPI Refresh Schedule.

You can find information in this article on Wiki, link below:

Please let me know if this is not what you are after, I will try to find a better answer for you.

Thank you very much Mahe!

I do have a follow up question: Is the refresh a file of some sort that is saved to the host database for quick retrieval later?

Hi - Any ideas? I was trying to find out if the file that is produced is stored somewhere for the trending aspect of this function. I did not see too much detail in the wiki.

Hi Hugo,

Sorry for delay in replying to your query.

ReportInstance

Table: This is the table in Yellowfin DB where all the information

about the report is stored and is used in KPI reporting.

The

information about the database tables is not mentioned in wiki for

security purposes, if somebody edits the database and something goes

wrong we will not be able to track down to resolve the issues.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
