Sort report data in descending order without affecting time series charts

Hi ,
I am trying to create a report where data is sorted in descending order with latest date on the top. The issue I am facing is my time series chart also gets affected when I sort data (see chart 1). When I keep the time series option on chart breaks( see chart 2) . Am I missing anything here?
I want to sort the data in desc order by date and still keep the charts from left to right in ascending order

Thanks for reaching out. This relates to not having a Series sort order for combination charts, as discussed in 8104. Since you are simply changing the data order here and not just the series order, it is changing the way the entire chart is displayed as well. Please reference the aforementioned 8104 for a potential enhancement on this.
